Combining words to make phrases and sentences in conversations and event/story retellings

SOCIAL COMMMUNICATION

Appropriate use of verbal and non-verbal language in social interactions and communications. 

FLUENCY

The rhythm and flow of speech free from stuttering: repetitions and prolongations of sounds and words.

LITERACY

Developing skills that are essential for reading, writing, and spelling development

AAC

Using modes other than speech to communicate and express needs, wants and thoughts such as using sign language, visuals and aided communication systems.

Therapy

​

SPEECH DISORDERS

 Dysarthria, apraxia of speech, or voice disorders resulting from neurological injury, surgery, or disease.

LANGAUGE DISORDERS

​Including aphasia and cognitive-communication impairments following stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological conditions.

FLUENCY 

The rhythm and flow of speech free from stuttering: repetitions and prolongations of sounds and words.
 

SOCIAL COMMMUNICATION

Appropriate use of verbal and non-verbal language in social interactions and communications. 

COGNITIVE COMMUNICATION

Addressing attention, memory, problem-solving, and executive function skills affecting communication and daily life participation.

SWALLOWING DISORDERS

Management of swallowing difficulties due to stroke and progressive neurological diseases (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease), or age-related changes.

AAC

Supporting adults who require communication aids or systems to express themselves effectively.​​
